Monsanto Corn Study In France Finds Tumors And Organ Damage In Rats
LONDON, Sept 19, (Reuters) - Rats fed a lifetime diet of Monsanto's genetically modified corn or exposed to its top-selling weedkiller Roundup suffered tumors and multiple organ damage, according to a French study published on Wednesday. ... Gilles-Eric Seralini of the University of Caen and colleagues said rats fed on a diet containing NK603 - a seed variety made tolerant to dousings of Roundup - or given water containing Roundup at levels permitted in the United States died earlier than those on a standard diet. The animals on the GM diet suffered mammary tumors, as well as severe liver and kidney damage. The researchers said 50 percent of males and 70 percent of females died prematurely, compared with only 30 percent and 20 percent in the control group" Huffington Post, September 26, 2012.
With Proposition 37 on California's November ballot, a wave of media is exposing the dangers of GMOs and urging voters to vote for a "Mandatory Labeling of Genetically Engineered Food Initiative as an initiated state statute." "A genetically modified organism (GMO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. These techniques, generally known as recombinant DNA technology, use DNA molecules from different sources, which are combined into one molecule to create a new set of genes" (wikipedia).
"If Proposition 37 is approved by voters, it will:
Require labeling on raw or processed food offered for sale to consumers if the food is made from plants or animals with genetic material changed in specified ways.
Prohibit labeling or advertising such food as "natural."
Exempt from this requirement foods that are "certified organic; unintentionally produced with genetically engineered material; made from animals fed or injected with genetically engineered material but not genetically engineered themselves; processed with or containing only small amounts of genetically engineered ingredients; administered for treatment of medical conditions; sold for immediate consumption such as in a restaurant; or alcoholic beverages" (ballotpedia.org).
More Dangers of GM Foods to Your Health
According to Jeffrey Smith's research, between 1994 and 2001 - a period during which GM foods flooded the market - food related illnesses doubled.

Toxic Carcinogenic
Anti-nutritional
Cause cancer
Possibly cause damage to your immune system
Create super-viruses
Another study this year revealed the following: "After feeding hamsters for two years over three generations, those on the GM diet, and especially the group on the maximum GM soy diet, showed devastating results. By the third generation, most GM soy-fed hamsters lost the ability to have babies. They also suffered slower growth, and a high mortality rate among the pups. And if this isn't shocking enough, some in the third generation even had hair growing inside their mouths--a phenomenon rarely seen, but apparently more prevalent among hamsters eating GM soy" (Huffington Post, Jeffrey Smith, September 2012).
Liver damage, tumors, and infertility! Is it any wonder why Europe and other countries continue to ban Monsanto's Frankenstein Foods?
I am deeply troubled when a deceptive company like Monsanto alters God's creatures and plants in such an unnatural way, and then refuses to label it on their products. What are they afraid of? It reminds me of sin's affect on man when He was originally created in the image of God (see Genesis 1:27). The result of Adam's violating God's law brought disease and death, and Monsanto is doing the same thing today. "When Adam came from the Creator's hand, he bore in his physical, mental, and spiritual nature, a likeness to its Maker" (Ed 15). In fact, "God blessed them and said: "Be fruitful and multiply" (Gen. 1:28), but animals fed on GM corn are losing their ability to multiply!
In the beginning, man was created holy. He was a partaker of the divine nature. But through the fall, man was "genetically modified" into a carnal nature. Consequently, man has a bent towards evil. The Bible says: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). Man's depraved condition continues to crave sin.
The present truth message teaches us how we can have victory over the carnal nature and become, once again, a partaker of the divine nature. God is willing and waiting to reproduce His character in us. The Bible assures us that we can be born again and transformed by the Holy Spirit, but, to many disappointed ears, the victory message is too often absent in churches today. Instead, a "Genetically Modified Theology" is being taught in the pulpits across the land with a false message that we can be saved "in" and not "from" our sins! The new GMO theology has world-loving "Christians" coming back for more, and they are eating it up because it is mixed with just enough truth to make it palatable!
"Already the doctrine that men are released from obedience to God's requirements has weakened the force of moral obligation and opened the floodgates of iniquity upon the world. ... In the family, Satan is at work. His banner waves, even in professedly Christian households. There is envy, evil surmising, hypocrisy, estrangement, emulation, strife, betrayal of sacred trusts, indulgence of lust. ... Intemperance has beclouded the faculties of many so that Satan has almost complete control of them. ... By introducing the belief that God's law is not binding, he as effectually leads men to transgress as if they were wholly ignorant of its precepts. And now, as in former ages, he has worked through the church to further his designs. The religious organizations of the day have refused to listen to unpopular truths plainly brought to view in the Scriptures, and in combating them they have adopted interpretations and taken positions which have sown broadcast the seeds of skepticism. ... But the fact that a movement to establish error is connected with a work which is in itself good, is not an argument in favor of the error. We may disguise poison [as Monsanto is doing] by mingling it with wholesome food, but we do not change its nature. On the contrary, it is rendered more dangerous, as it is more likely to be taken unawares. It is one of Satan's devices to combine with falsehood just enough truth to give it plausibility." The Great Controversy, pp. 586-588. Dear Reader, nearly all the corn and soy crops in the United States have been genetically modified, and millions of people are consuming them daily!
Monsanto is mixing the pesticide Roundup with corn, while the devil is mixing truth with error in the church. These deceivers refuse to label their products in the hope that the people will consume them unknowingly. The GM theology is gaining popularity in many churches across the land! "You can't overcome" is the false cry heard from the pulpits for the world-loving consumer." But the Bible assures us of the contrary. Yes, you can and must overcome!
Consider the following Scriptures:
1. "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy." Jude 24
2. "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Revelation 3:21
3. "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." 1 Peter 1:4
4. "Thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:21
5. "And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." Psalms 50:15
We must be careful not to swing the pendulum too far the other side just because many believe the church has been too legalistic. The GM theology of cheap grace, a theology that teaches that God will save sinners in sin, is not the answer needed today, but just another extreme. "This goody, goody religion that makes light of sin and that is forever dwelling upon the love of God to the sinner, encourages the sinner to believe that God will save him while he continues in sin and he knows it to be sin. This is the way that many are doing, who profess to believe present truth. The truth is kept apart from their life, and that is the reason it has no more power to convict and convert the soul" (6MR 12).
The message so desperately needed in the church is that God has all the power to change us, and the Holy Spirit is ready and waiting to give us the victory over sin in our lives right now. "If ye being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask" (Luke 11:13). Remember, what God has promised, He is able to perform! Ask the Holy Spirit to come into your heart right now so Jesus can live out His victorious life in you! Remember, we are saved by His righteousness: "For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life" (Romans 8:10)!
One last note: I do not believe sinners who continue in sin will be in the Earth Made New any more than Monsanto's GM tomatoes!
